Mark your calendars down this March as the annual MIFF is back. Bigger than ever, it has been 20 years since the very first inception of MIFF in 1995. The ever increasing participation each year MIFF gets from their long supporting legion of exhibitors is something worthy to take note of. Be it 10, 15, or 20 years, majority of them have stuck by with MIFF and has since flourished into worldwide furniture manufacturers. Extremely proud of their solid regular exhibitors that have been a significant slice of MIFF’s foundation, you can be pretty sure that neither party would have found the path to success of such magnitude that rapidly if it wasn’t for the other.

This coming March it is not just a chance to celebrate another milestone but also an opportunity to recognise and honour those valuable partnerships, those that came and never left. Much has changed over the past two decades, but not all. Some things tend to remain the same such as the exhibitors enthusiastic participation in MIFF year after year. Merryfair, perfecting office furniture; Tube Home, always so inspiring with their wide range of steel based furnitures, and Fella, home interior solution specialists, are gearing up for their 20th exhibition this March with their ever exciting collections, and you could only expect the best from them given their expertise. It is definitely something to look out for come March.

Merryfair Chair System Sdn Bhd, one of the numerous loyal MIFF exhibitors, was kind enough to have a representative in Mr. Joon Ong to share some thoughts on their constant participation in MIFF. “They (MIFF) have been very cooperative to us, and very accommodating to our requirements and our needs.” said Mr. Joon Ong – assistant managing director of Merryfair. “We look forward to going to MIFF every single year, and we are getting more quality customers every year, there is no reason why we should not come to MIFF.”

Dato' Tan Y C, chairman of Tube Home (M) Sdn Bhd was full of praise for MIFF. “From day one we have been taking part in MIFF. In the last 20 years, we have also exhibited in many international cities, but we still find MIFF the best.” Tube Home, since their very first exhibition with MIFF has expanded rapidly to various countries. “Without MIFF, we will not be supplying to other countries as we are doing now” echoed Dato’ Tan. “I hope MIFF will carry on for another 100 years.”

Fella Design Sdn Bhd is also another of MIFF’s longest participating exhibitors. “It is the only fair we participate in.” said Mohammad Zulkifar (export manager for Fella). “MIFF is enough for us to penetrate new markets and without fail; we open new accounts every year.” In addition, he also credited MIFF’s constant improvements in service and facilities. “MIFF is a very good organiser; their staffs are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the market.  It is the platform to enhance our company image and visibility.” Mohammad Zulfikar then rounded up the interview by scoring MIFF 8.5 out of 10.
