[UPDATED] Malaysia Border Reopens from 1 April 2022 - Quarantine Free for International Travellers

Good news! Malaysia welcomes travellers with open arms upon the reopening of international borders starting 1st April to make your travel more convenient and hassle free. All fully vaccinated travellers can now visit Malaysia quarantine-free, in transition to Endemic Phase of Covid-19.
Starting 1st May 2022, all fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to take both the pre-departure and on-arrival RT-PCR test. While partially and not vaccinated travellers must take a RT-PCR test 2 days before departure and a supervised RTK-Ag test within 24 hours of arrival with a 5-day quarantine period.
The COVID-19 insurance will also no longer be required for all travellers entering Malaysia.
